The Suzuki Carry of the DA63T generation debuted in 2002. Several improvements were made to the truck. A more comfortable and better-appointed interior, with higher-quality interior door panels and seats more resistant to tearing. The engine was changed to the K6A, still a 600cc 3-cylinder injection, but this one has a timing chain instead of a belt, requiring no maintenance at that level. Power steering became almost standard, and they are often equipped with air conditioning.
Despite the engine being located under the seats, the Carry DA63T has a hood. Underneath it, you'll find the brake fluid reservoir, windshield washer fluid reservoir, and the coolant expansion tank. All manual transmissions are equipped with 5 speeds, and the transfer case has a "LOW" setting.
This truck comes with the rare and sought-after rear differential lock option. It also features power steering and air conditioning. The engine is remarkably quiet and smooth for a 3-cylinder one. Shifting gears is easy, and on the road, you quickly reach the 5th gear. The maneuverability of the Suzuki Carry is fantastic; it easily maneuvers in reverse and can slip into any space! A special mention should also be made for its incredibly tight turning radius, despite this generation having 2 feet more wheelbase than the DD51T.
The chassis condition of this truck is absolutely phenomenal, with no rust whatsoever! The vehicle is sold for off-road use in Quebec, much like an ATV. Road registration in Quebec will be possible in 2028. For Ontario and maritime provinces, the vehicle can be registered for road use immediately.
