The DA63T generation began in 2002, bringing several improvements to the truck. The interior is more comfortable and better laid out, with higher-quality door panels and seats that are more resistant to tearing.

The engine was upgraded to the K6A—a 660cc 3-cylinder fuel-injected engine—which uses a timing chain instead of a belt, meaning no maintenance is required in that area. Despite the engine being located under the seats, the DA63T Carry has a front hood. Under it, you'll find the brake fluid reservoir, windshield washer fluid tank, and coolant overflow reservoir.

The 5-speed manual transmission allows for comfortable driving at 100 km/h.

This truck is equipped with power steering and air conditioning. The engine is impressively quiet and surprisingly smooth for a 3-cylinder. The Suzuki Carry handles wonderfully—it’s easy to reverse and can fit just about anywhere. Special mention goes to the turning radius, which is incredibly tight, even though this generation has a 2-foot longer wheelbase than the DD51T.

This vehicle is being sold for off-road use only in Quebec, similar to an ATV. In Ontario and the Maritime provinces, it can be registered for road use immediately.
